Spoiler-light field notes
Your first session is about learning how the island speaks.
A solo or co-op open-world RPG inspired by Morrowind. The safest opening advice is not a fabricated route: decide how you want to play, learn how the world communicates objectives, and keep the current Hotfix installed.
1. Decide between solo and co-op before settling in
The entire campaign is officially playable in co-op. If you are joining friends, read the current saving and regrouping rules first; the launch Hotfixes changed both.
2. Treat dialogue and environmental clues as navigation
Learn the island by walking, following rumors, reading fragments of history and talking to its inhabitants. Follow leads and notice shortcuts instead of expecting a single prescribed checklist.
3. Pause before resolving a quest
Most quests support multiple resolutions, including mercy, violence, compromise or deceit. That official promise does not reveal which named quest supports which outcome, so this guide will not invent branch instructions.
4. Learn systems before looking for a “best” build
Spell crafting and alchemy are both present in Early Access, but the public recipe dataset is not complete. Hotfix 5 made the Unlock spell craftable and improved alchemy quantity feedback; it did not publish a complete recipe table.
5. Give the island time
The developer projects 30–40+ hours for a completionist playthrough without guides. Use that as the developer’s scope estimate, not a promise for every play style.
